    FREEDOM 500 SPOILERS BELOW

Freedom 500 was a fantastic race this year. They actually buckled down and put in some rules. Tanner Faust led 92 laps. Brian Deegan was working on him for about 20. Spun him on like lap 70 and got sent to the back of the pack for it. Worked his way back through the field and passed Tanner on lap 92 to take the win.

Some fantastic racing out here. Much better than the wreck fest that was last year lol

Gotta say I'm a little jealous. There was snow on the ground here this morning and you're in Florida at the FF.

They are doing the Indy 800 (all crown Vics) at Lucas Oil RaceWay on the Sunday after Cletus and Cars. May 14th is C&C and the 15th is the Indy 800.

You're the second person to say that today lol.
I left Greenwood at 6:30 yesterday, drove to Terre Haute to pick my buddy up, and we were at my Mom's in The Villages by 9am. Pretty good drive.

I wanna go but don't know if I'm gonna be able to make it.

That’s impressive. Tanner is no joke behind the wheel.

I didn’t even know this was a thing but holy crap these guys are insane.

It’s a 500’ ft race and these guys are going mid 3’s at 150+ mph. In freakin snowmobiles. That’s like deeeeep 6 second territory for us 1/4 mile guys.

The brothers I used to race with on the Indy circuit had 2 of these they built. I refused to throw my leg over either of them as they tended to hurt people brave (or silly) enough to do so.

In sadness we lost both brothers to Covid.

We used to have racing on one of the local lakes back in the day. There were some awesome sleds and bikes always there, but nothing near the level of that video.

In Cletus' latest video, he said IRP, I mean Lucas Oil Raceway is pouring a burnout pad specifically for their event. Last year it was.om the front straight of the oval. Being asphalt, there were to be no standing burnouts as it would damage the track surface.

    Should be interesting.

IRP Will always be IRP. Myself and my friends still do and always will refer to it as such.
