Just bringing this back up to the top.
We are fast approaching the holidays so funds/time will be at a premium.
I am putting the new furnace in my house this weekend and have another heat pump install the weekend after that.
I have to get a few things done before I can put any time/energy/money in the 64.

My next move is the ever dreaded garage clean out. I have to dump parts boxes and put some stuff away that has been sitting out since May and get things organized so I can get to work on the Mustang. Holidays are coming and PRI is just a month away, then it will be...what are we upgrading/ doing different for next year time

I am waiting on some tech advice from Ride Tech on the racecar so dug back into the Galaxie for a little while last night. I put the adjustable rockers on it and started it to make sure all was well with it. I'll need to get back out there and run thru the adjustments so hopefully it'll help quiet the valve train down considerably.

    Why...???

    That is clean.

She is very clean, sat in a barn for 30 years.

Shes is making some sort of noise on the passenger side. Its not a knock or a tick. . its something I never heard a BB Mopar make. Has great oil pressure, doesnt smoke, doesnt miss, and she runs like a son-of-a-*****. If I had to guess, its piston slap.

Will see when the pan comes off. She has 80,000 original miles and never been touched. We've had it out of the car for paint and detailing, but the insides are from 1969.

    No problem on the pictures.
