This^^^^^^Short trailers are a b@st@rd to back up, but the tandem axles on a horse trailer makes it a lot easier as the trailer doesn't swing so quickly.
For a real challenge, try a 4' long garden cart behind a John Deere lawn tractor and try and back it in a straight line. This^^^^^^
I can put a 50'+ trailer in some pretty tight spots.

But put me in front of a bumper hitch and a short trailer and a drunk 5 year old could probably do better.

I've tried that. It's impossible. For a real challenge, try a 4' long garden cart behind a John Deere lawn tractor and try and back it in a straight line.
It's not very forgiving, that's for sure! The biggest thing I've towed is my 20' pontoon boat, and I've parallel parked with that, but the garden cart is just a bridge too far. I've got an 8' utility trailer that I haul mulch around the yard with the JD, and even it is much easier.I've tried that. It's impossible.
Mad skills bigtanker! You want to be scared and impressed at the same time? Watch some of those dollar general semis back into some of their stores! Those guys just don’t have any *’s to give! This^^^^^^

FixyYou can back a 4ft garden cart, or any other kind of Very Light Weight trailer, with a ZTR, no problem.... unless it has hay wagon style steering...

For real fun try that with a zero turn. I just give up and unhook then roll it back by hand! For a real challenge, try a 4' long garden cart behind a John Deere lawn tractor and try and back it in a straight line.
