    Funny thing is that they sound similar for a very good reason: both Tolkien and the makers of most pharmaceuticals purposefully chose vowel/consonant combos that sound soft and pleasant to the ear for their drugs/elven language. Tolkien did it to give that kind of good but otherly feel to the elves, while drug companies do it because it makes the chemicals and/or extracts they sell you in pill form seem less intimidating.
