Thanks CM.
Don't know. We shall see. It's the effort that counts.
In the Army. We knew immediately after the 2nd plane hit that we were under attack and had already started the process of deploying.
It was unreal. Still remember that day so clearly.
My flags are out. I wish we could get this country to love this country again like they did after 9/11
I'm relatively certain that everyone in this group loves this country as much as ever and is willing to do what is necessary to preserve it. As for all of the low life stirring s***, their time will come.
Talked myself out of buying another gun today since I just sold two and it's a bad time to buy. I'm hoping that things come down slightly and stock returns after the election or early next year. Adulting isn't fun and I want an allowance!
The reality is that I want a lot of things but I don't get out to shoot what I already own, so I sold things to try to minimize (and fuel other purchases). At the end of the day, if I ever needed guns in a defensive situation I'd reach for the Austrian Tupperware and those aren't going anywhere!Have 1 AR on the mount in the vice waitying on a few small bits. Beyond that I am silent. No wants or desires.
Except I think I am for the 1st time in like forever without a full size 1911.......Not sure how that happened.
Good morning H45. That’s one way to wake up.About 5am, I woke up to a loud boom and our bedroom door being slammed open. I sit up in bed, shake off the sleep, and try to figure out what is going on. Don't hear anything else. So I grab the bedside gun and flashlight and check on the kids, then clear each room. Nothing.
So what I think happened is this: furnace kicked on, ductwork popped, which scared the cat, who made a mad dash for our bedroom, and shot through the partially open door, running for his life.
Wife says I can't shoot the cat as a home invader because he lives here. Guess I didn't want to sleep in this morning.
