200 yards with a Carbine! Awesome!

I took a WAG and held ~12-18" over the head and was hitting steel.

I even tagged the silhouette @ 100 yards with 88's 1911 a couple of times but the one I hit was standing next to the one that lit the cigarette that I actually aimed for.

Was that the old MilSpec 1911. If so it has an SA barrel fit up in it. Fairly accurate piece now.

88 will have to answer your question. Sometimes it was 2' to the left and sometimes right on...I suspect the shooter needed more one handed practice but these were battlefield pickups with no time for that.

I am embarrassed to say how few rounds the CM 2011 has seen. The last year hasn't been all that was planned - not that its been all bad but "mcapo's" time to do his thing has been in short supply.

Looking forward the seeing the new 2011. Its takes something special to make you stop in your tracks!
