I have no experience with the Gibbz but the left side/charging handle and the rear charging handle cover look like a New Frontier Armory without the LRBHO. The Gibbz appears to have a longer ejection port and may take calibers the NFA doesn't.

I have been using a NFA side charging upper (roll marked as Joe Bob Outfitter) with a 9mm pistol and like it enough that I just ordered another NFA for a 9mm carbine.

What caliber are you thinking of?

300 BO or 223. Pistol 7.5" or so. To can or not to can is the question. Yes - this is a "I want one" build...

Never cared for them. They point nice, but the slide is so tall you have to lower it a half inch to see the sights. Not a fan, and then the whole magazine safety, completely killed them for me.

Can't argue with any of that. I got hooked on buying one of each. Which is great, except there are about 100 variations...
