MM inspired me - ordered my scope! Decided to go with the Steiner P4Xi 1-4x24. I just need to find a mount now, preferably shipping via Amazon Prime because all these shipping fees bum me out. Prime has spoiled me by even delivering my toothpaste in two days with no shipping cost.

I find myself using the Vortex 2" offset mount on all of my AR's with scopes. You need a mount for a 30mm scope tube.

Warne is another well thought of brand.

I’m not much of an AR expert but I’ve had good luck with both brands.

Yes, on both counts, lollipop. It's a 6-30X Athlon, with a 56mm bell. If it doesn't work out, I'll invest in a more expensive scope. I'm not gonna go backwards with this build.

Morning everyone.

Spent wayyyy too much time in the garage last night playing adult legos. Got most of my plan accomplished, save for a few minor things. I'm not selling anything and it saved me several hundred dollars by using what I have.

Today is new carpet installation day. One of the few things I will pay someone else to do. I know how to stretch a dollar, but not carpet.

MM that is an awesome setup and you should be proud of it. I really need to invest in some better scope mounting tools. I generally have good luck using feeler gauges between the scope and the mount to level things out, but depending on the combo of the two parts it can be a challenge sometimes.
