If I was going to frequently shoot it to 200yd, a 20moa base would be nice.

I have a 0moa base on mine and can't dial my scope all the way up to 200yd. I would need to dial an additional ~26moa with standard velocity ammo and only have 14moa available. I can use the reticle graduations for an additional 20moa.

I do most of my .22LR shooting from 50 to 100yds.

if you are going distance - get the 30

hec, just get the 30 anyway, now that I think about it
Thank you both for your input, greatly appreciated. I really don't see myself shooting past 100 yards but then, what if I do....

Nothing sexier than coming home to a box full of spicy goodness. Mounted, leveled, and ready for action. Thanks again @T-DOGG.

I will honor thy data flow with a chart on her first outing.

Nikko Stirling 4-12X40. Put it on my Savage 93v (.22 wmr) to replace the El cheapo Firefield I managed to break a turret off of.

This is my Savage 93 22 mag. The 16" fluted-barrel version. I stole the stock from another savage (17 HMR) to replace the plastic stock.

I have a 50 yard, 5 shot group with the 45 gr Hornady load that measures .375" outside to outside. Easily one of my most accurate 22 mags.

p.s.: have you solved the cheap magazine issues, where you open bolt and all the rounds spring out of the receiver? Some of mine do it, and others not, but I havn't looked close to see the difference. I just set aside the bad ones.
