    Not far from the tree
I'm hoping to take a family pic of my CZ rifles this weekend. But in the meantime, here's a little beauty I havn't shot yet. Bought this from a fine INGO member for a very fair price. It has the BLEM mark by the Serial #, but I've yet to find the blemish. It came with the slimline grips, but I wanted to see how these burl grips felt. They're a little thick, so I'm thinking I will thin them out a bit and refinish them and maybe dye them a little darker - kind of a pukey green right now.

    So a couple questions:

    - Are the Dan Wesson's considered a true CZ yet?

    - Are the 9mm Valor Bobtails fairly rare, compared to the .45 versions? I don't see very many 9mm V-bobs when I search, at least on GB.

    Oh, and CZ!!!

    .
Like that a lot, I does.
Will detail offline later but we prevailed.

It’s easy to be in court when you just have to tell the truth.
    Glad to hear this.

I'm considering a CZ Drake O/U in 12 gauge. Any input form the CZickos?
I have shot one a few times. I would say it is a solid no frills shotgun. Pretty light as I recall and with a good balance. The one I have shot has a nice wood stock and looks above its price range.

To the best of my knowledge, it remains a Turkish made gun and I do not consider that a negative.

Might not be the best choice if you are going to run 20,000 rounds a year but for a field gun or a casual clay shooter, I would consider it a solid option. CZ shotguns seem to fit me better than my Brownings and some day, after my lottery winnings come in, I'll will buy a CZ All-American set.

Magpie and I just squared away the mornings needs; treated clothes and bagged the rifles. Shouldn't be too hot that early. We'll have biscuit in hand and on the road by 0620.

Afternoon all, or evening depending on your point of view.

I swung by one of the local gun shops, just to look around, really. I thought maybe if I could find a Springfield Ronin in 9mm, or a CZ Scorpion carbine, I might think about picking up one of those. However, as I was looking, I saw instead a CZ P-01 Omega. I debated, I thought hard about it, I looked around. Then I gave in after being strong like marshmallow.

So I am now off to look for a holster, mags, maybe new grip panels.

    Awesome catch.

Impressive restraint in making a purchase decision.

Around here it is typically - See gun. Buy gun.
