I finally got around to sending a repair request to CZ for the P10C. Got the label about 3 hours later and I'll drop it at FedEx before the end of next week. When sending a gun back, do you guys use the factory box or a different one? From CZ's email, it almost sounds like they are expecting a different box. I don't know if I want to chance losing my factory box if it goes to them and comes back with a different one.

    I use a different one.

I just came into Iowa (Grinnell exit on I-80 .. my hometown is Oskaloosa just 20 miles south) heading for Des Moines.

I stopped @ Brownells just off I-80 and what did I hold in my hand and dry fire?? a SS 9mm Dan Wesson Valor Commander.!!

    This is tooooooo weird..!!

    BTW : that trigger....mamma.!!

I am a big fan of their duty coat. Stainless is not my thing.

Awesome price and will leave you plenty of room for a trip to the Wizard.

Welcome to the CZ rabbit hole!

    1. I was just talking about that with Areoflyer09 (name used with permission).
    2. I've never gone down the trigger, sights and whatever else I don't even know about b/c I'm not married to a certain platform (as they say).
    3. If I kept a gun long enough, and knew it was a keeper, then I imagine I'd want to update it instead of buying yet another gun.
    4. Even my Shield 9 mm that I've had a year, could go if I found the right replacement (which I thought might be the Glock 43, but it wasn't even close).
    5. I'm so unrefined, that I don't mind the trigger level, and sights, I need something but I'm going to try some orange on the front sights, first. :dunno:

Sights are like holsters and wives. Hard to use what works for other people.

That being said; for range I like a basic fiber optic green front sight. Self defense something like a TFX Pro.

    1. I have heard that green was better for target acquisition that orange or red or white (sometimes on the guns I have with white dots, I can't even see the white on the end of the barrel. :dunno:

Depends on the model for me. Love the Specialist in stainless, but the Valor or V-Bob look better in duty coat.

I'm the same, having TFX's on both my CZ's, though Sig X-ray 3 sights are my favorite. If they sold them for my P10c I'd buy them on the spot.

I like sleeping on the couch.

I tried to sleep on the couch last weekend by choice. The terrorists (see avatar) and their older sister were having a sleep over and we set up the air mattress in the living room and they were posted up watching movies and I was on the couch. I let them get to sleep and I was back in the bed. Screw the couch....:fogey:

When my daughter has sleep overs I lock myself in another part of the house. All I need is a mini fridge and a bathroom and I'm good.
    My son usualy joins me by the time the girls are ready to kill him ;);

The time spent in joy with the kids is beyond priceless as you already know.
Yes CM priceless for sure. I was just speaking with another INGO member the other day via telephone about the same thing. He makes pretty good money working 3 days a week but could make a butt load more if he worked 5 or 7 days. He puts family over more money. I wanted to give him a hug through the phone. If he has a want he can always put in extra time at work. Perfect. (Some people arent as lucky and dont have an awesome option like that and I'm not saying anything bad about them).
But as we talked about, you just can never get time back with your kids as they grow. I missed a lot of time in my daughters life early and I'll always regret it and can never get it back. I did it for her to have a better life but I still feel ****ty about it. My son has always had me and I wouldn't have it any other way.

I need to run Shiny more often. I don't run it enough to warrant a sibling for it just yet. I don't think I've taken a photo since I finished it. It's full on CGW inside with a F/O front sight and 10x bushing.

And I'll bet there's zero fingerprints showing.
