I need to upgrade my grip screws now. Somehow, the factory ones just don't look right anymore.
I personally think allen or torx fasteners offer the cleanest look, especially on firearms. My main concern was actually the factory screws were growing minor surface rust and I wanted something that offered more resistance to that. Going to torx just made the deal even better.

    Good morning everyone.

Looks like we are getting into the 90 degree temps very soon.

I just wish my allergies would quit driving my eyes insane, I haven't had much success lately with wearing contacts and have had to resort to wearing my Clark Kent eyeglasses.

Good morning T-D. I have allergies too. Thankfully Claritin has been able to keep them in check for thand most part so contacts haven't been an issue.

Good find on the screws. I really don't like Phillips head screws on anything. I would much prefer Allen, torx or square drive on just about everything. In my opinion they look better and don't strip out nearly as easily as Phillips.

    Morning folks! :coffee:

Yup, the hot weather is coming this weekend. Hopefully the grass will be cut and most outdoor chores will be done before it gets here. Except for pressure washing the drive and patio. I love doing that when it's crazy hot. A shot of water up into the air once in a while really cools things off.

Just picked up #2 and as always AllenM did an exemplary job.

The color is 1 off. Special mix and is highly metallic in the sun.
Pic is bleh at best but time does not permit much more.
Trust when I say this is a very special SP-01

It will go to Wendell (Indy Laser) for engraving next week and then up to the Wizard for his love and Magic.
