If properly maintained, they are quite good. But, they come from an age where you were expected to know how to adjust points.
Rain is over here. Back from installing a dishwasher at the rental last night. Removed the old microwave and the new one needs an inch routed out of the backsplash to fit. No router with me last night so another trip on Saturday. **** me, I'm never gonna get to kill a deer.
Anyone else up? And thinking about a Staccato, a 2011 custom build, metal art, gunsmithing and optics cuts as well?
Yeah, I didn't think so.
My cousin's wife posted pictures on Facebook of the results of their girl's hunts from over the weekend. A total of 5 deer between the two girls. My son’s (not one at fge) cam was filled with deer and at the right times of day - until opening day. Now just one little buck wandering by every morning when son is in the stand.
Why hunting ain’t called killing.
Five in one weekend, wow. That's MM style. My cousin's wife posted pictures on Facebook of the results of their girl's hunts from over the weekend. A total of 5 deer between the two of them.
I always come back after the FGE with a big want list. Kinda like a kid picking out wideo games on Christmas list.
**** me, I'm never gonna get to kill a deer.
And what 3 or 4 are on your list? We are here to help…Yep - top of mine is a double stack 1911-ish gun. I have it narrowed down to about 3 or 4.
Your list?

Nothing better than a classic Pachmayr grip! Well - an untorn one.....Got my Pachmayr grips for the SA-35 last evening (same day as ordered) but unfortunately they had a tear in where one of the side panels meets the frontstrap and that was only going to get worse under tension. RMA'd and a new set coming (should be here tomorrow). 1911 grips should be arriving today.
I really want that 2011 made by Stealth Arms but @T-DOGG ruined that for me.
You make a valid point! The way I read TD's opinion, if you get a Perry the Platypus, you wont have to worry about him violating it like a cannon. Seems like a big plus. I'd stay away from anything resembling muddy girl though.
