I think some of the 1911's in 45 move a bit more slowly than even the same gun in 9mm these days. Probably a little bit of sacrilege there, but reflects the ammo market, etc these days.

Nah, just get a threaded bbl and form 1 a suppressor for it. Suppressed .45s are sweet.

Another option being considered. I have a .45 can that needs a host. But I could do the same thing with my Rem 1911.

Forgot to add that later in his career this piece of metal was also replaced with a plastic model, and finally by computers and optical readers.

Story goes that I got loose with the one in the picture and stamped up the walls in my room pretty good as a kid. Mom was not happy.
