I'm with you. I have 365's, G****s, and other striker fired and I like my M&P smiths as well as any. I favor the 1911 but after all, plastic is fantastic.

1.0 PC - still one of my favs and a gun that I can actually say has a fair number of rounds fired.

Check out that “old” vortex optic. bcannon probably won’t speak to me anymore. :-)

@Born2vette great job on the CZ82!

About Sigs 320/365… So far I’ve found myself underwhelmed by anything striker fired and I tend to prefer hammer fired guns. Having said that, I haven’t tried the 365XL, Macro, Canik Rival or Echelon. Those are on my list to try out. Edit: and CZ P10 series. I’ve heard a lot of reviews say they shoot far above their price range.

More than happy to let you shoot one of my P10C's. I have one OR and one that isn't.

As for triggers, I haven't tried the Echelon trigger, but the Sig triggers are okay without being great. The Canik triggers are fantastic for polymer striker fired pistols. The factory P10C trigger is great, but irritates my finger after about 50 - 100 rounds, so I always replace mine. CGW and HBI both make great replacement triggers for that gun that turn out really nice. Not as good as the Canik (or Walther) triggers, but good nonetheless.

Got my lazy butt onto the elliptical and worked out while watching some YT videos. After cooling off I decided to have a small cocktail. On NYE I tried a champagne cocktail and it was pretty tasty. The champagne flute I have doesn't hold much, so it's kind of a perfect size for when I want something, but don't want too much. There are tons of variations of this cocktail, adding various other alcohols or liqueurs to it for different results. I like the one from a channel I watch on YT where you saturate a sugar cube with angostura bitters, put it into the bottom of a chilled champagne flute, add some brandy/cognac and top with champagne/prosecco or whatever bubbly wine you want. Interesting as it gets a bit sweeter and has more of the bitters the more you drink. I pour out the last of it as I don't want a huge mouthful of sugar... ;)
