Mornin. I think most of this is all your fault.
Thanks Rusty

I may have to try one of those bags, BA.
Santa has been asking for a list....As you can imagine it is heavy when loaded but not overly so. Plus, with the flap open, you could theoretically shoot all 300 straight without too much extra movement.
Hey, I gotta blame someone. You're welcome. Thanks Rusty

That's exactly what I was looking to do.Mine is fully loaded and sitting in the gun room. Just have to grab the rifle, pick up the bag and go.
Mmmmmmm.Did someone say 6.5 Grendel?
Steel case is as cheap as .223...I just checked the ammo prices on 6.5 Grendel, no thanks.
WWCMD?Right now I'm shopping for 1911 mags. I need to stay focused. Has anyone ever tried Mecgar 1911 mags?

I think I'm in at about $0.80/rd right now on the Hornady, but that was back a few years when I built the rifle. I think now its closer to $1/rd. Wolf Gold makes some that I've shot through another Grendel that's great for plinking.I just checked the ammo prices on 6.5 Grendel, no thanks.

My goal is a longer range precision rig with less recoil than a 308 in a smaller/lighter package, because I'm a pansy. The cheap steel stuff makes the round more versitle to me, for having cheap fun.I think I'm in at about $0.80/rd right now on the Hornady, but that was back a few years when I built the rifle. Haven't shot any steel, but I'm sure it'd be fine for a fun gun. Built mine more for precision so I try to use match grade.
