Gonna be heading to the range with my wife later today. Picked up the LCP II yesterday and am looking forward to trying it out. Also have the G17 we picked up for the wife on Wednesday to try out. Of course I'll be carrying my Legion, so I'll have to run some ammo through it as well.... :D

Well I am working today/tomorrow so range time will have to wait.

    Morning everyone! :coffee:

I did a quick trip to MCFG this morning and found that the P07/40 still has issues, but they seem to be only with it's own mags. The gun runs the P09 mags flawlessly but seems to be getting worse, not better with the factory 12 rounders. I thought I was close to being able to carry it and as a test, loaded it up in carry configuration with 12+1 rounds of Federal HSTs. It choked on round 6. I unloaded the rest and tried my reloads. It choked on 5 of 10 rounds in the first mag. New mags are a must I think. I ran the rest of the ammo through the P09 mags and it was fine with those.

On an unrelated note, I noticed that my P09 mags have the ambi mag release cutouts in them. THat's helpful for the new Czlock coming out.

Been up since 0700 helping the spouse prep for 2nd Turkey dinner. She's off to the hairdresser and I'm minding the bird and boiling potatoes and the giblets. ( two separate pots, no worries) Hope everybody likes rosemary in their gravy. :dunno: Just finishing my 2nd cuppa.
Finally got around to making an order with Cotes, LLC.. Couple of mags for my P228 and a couple of 14 rounders for the Rami. Tired of making do with 10. Wish CZ mags were as inexpensive as the Sigs.

Sounds like a busy day. I need to order a couple of mags for the P07/40 today. It's small business Saturday, so I'll gladly send money his way. Ok, not gladly. I'd be happier is the factory mags actually worked, but if I'm going to spend money, I'm glad to send it to one of the great small businesses in the firearms industry.

    Just rolled in from work.
We were short some materials (I ordered the right amounts but they shorted when boxing it up) so we hit a stop point for the day.
I managed to find what I needed at the Home Depot so we can finish up tomorrow.
Now to browse the interwebs for AR parts.

Just got back from the range. Good trip. The LCP II I picked up for the wife was impressive. Less recoil than I'd expected, though still not a "fun" gun to shoot. It shot the AE Federal with no issues that choked the wife's G42, so that was nice. The gun had zero issues, but we only shot around 50 rounds or so. The G17 I got for her also did well, though we don't really care for the Ameriglo sights that are on it. My wife prefers the TruGlo TFO's, which are on her other G****s. Guess I'll be ordering another set. My Legion shot fine, as always :)

    Yeah me to.

I have this 10.5" stainless haeavy barrel and gas system sitting in the bench. It is just sitting there. Not doing much of anything just sitting there.

It is making me freaking crazy.

I was offered an Ingo lower last night. That sealed it.

Looking through the spares to see what I need for a complete AR pistol............:):

Cool! I am just in need of a lower to put mine together once all the parts show up. I didn't have any spares like you, T-DOGG is being kind and donating a charging handle. That will make it operational, then I will go through and outfit it exactly how I want. This is my first "tacticool" build. Ever since I shot Travis' wife's AR pistol, I needed my own. I went with a 7".
