In honor of the title of this thread, I'd like to interrupt the pointless :blahblah: about politics to share this picture with INGO.

Today is Salma's birthday. She is 53. She posted this yesterday:

At the risk of derailing the Salma thread....

I got another email from DJT. This one was him endorsing the North Carolina Republican, Dan Bishop.

Dan Bishop, a FANTASTIC conservative who has my total endorsement, is running against a big government SOCIALIST hand-picked by Nancy Pelosi in the NC-09 Special Election.

The stakes are high - we NEED to win.

I said to myself, "Self, I wonder what prompted President Trump to endorse a conservative."

So, I looked him up. Sure, he's a Republican that will very likely stand against Pelosi. That's a given.

As it pertains to gun rights, this was a bit troubling.

Bishop has said he opposes banning assault weapons, but he left the door open to a some form of gun control.
"I don’t rule out that some form of weapon needs to be prohibited," Bishop said.
Bishop didn’t say what type of weapon could be prohibited, though he said he supported the ban on bump stocks.

Well, that's not a good thing.

But is he blindly loyal to our golfing during a hurricane president?

That is the problem - with the dumocraps they know their candidates will blindly, deafly and dumbly vote the way they are told by the dnc. With Republicans you have to try to figure out how they might vote.

When parties have platforms by which they are supposed to abide, that would seem to be a problem.

Well, that's not a good thing.

Ain't no weapons need prohibiting, except those which are unlikely that average people can own and operate without posing a danger to others. Like nukes, for example. Personally, I want a battleship and a private Island to shoot at.

This whole hurricane-map-into-Alabama thing is really Really REALLY stupid.

This can't possibly be worth all of the attention its getting.

Yes, he should drop it. But also, yes, the MSM must really be foundering if this is the biggest thing they can talk about.

Why, because he lies so frequently we need to let a few slip through the cracks from time to time?

They did talk about our lackey VP, greasing the president's palms, by paying tribute and staying at a Trump resort in Ireland.

There is absolutely nothing wrong with the Vice President of the United States staying at a nice place owned by the President of the United States.

The same people *****ing now would probably be *****ing if he stayed somewhere else too saying there must be something wrong.

    What a crocK!

Well, yeah. That's what politicians do. :)

Media (MSM and otherwise) need to prioritize. In the same time that he's made up this map thing, what are the things that we're NOT supposed to be paying attention to.

Actually, in other parts of government, its an ethical violation to divert government resources to personal profit, and its kinda a problem.
