Looks like AB is upping the game. They have a boycott busting peyton manning and emmitt smith teaming up hawking Bud Light in a new commercial. I wonder how many 10’s of millions it cost them for those two. Didn’t notice any newly minted ladyboys anywhere in the commercial. I would bet there was though somewhere.

Discussing here. Notice they neither actually even pretended to drink BL. :lmfao:

    No. Against FCC regulations IIRC.
I found this, it is not government, the broadcasters association has long discouraged actual consumption in commercials and most viewers never notice it, and brewers don’t want to fight over it as they have become skilled without it in by presenting in a way viewers don’t notice it missing…

Youright though. They could at least have had a shot of them holding one in a glass or normal drinking pose.

Don't you know by now I am very observant?

Trumps all in on Bud Light.

But why? Oh, well that explains it.

    Money trumps principle.

I think we should give Bud Light a 2nd chance.

But not till AFTER everyone involved in the shenanigans are fired. the BoD, CEO, Marketing staff, etc.

Cut out the cancer THEN give them a shot. But not before.

This is nothing new particularly since Jr said similar a couple of months ago.

Trump is loyal to a fault, they supported him back in the first run for the presidency Si he still supports them.

It is a reasonable question to ask about? Is the only answer to completely destroy them, which is unlikely since they have a worldwide market…

Anheuser-Busch is a Great American Brand

Lulz, no. It used to be. Now it's a Belgian brand and just another soulless international conglomerate.

I get you can't avoid mega-corps and globalism on so many things, but beer isn't one of those things. There's too many good *really American* beers for me to give Budweiser another go, tranny or no.

I really enjoy the Michelob dark amber lager, since we can’t get Saint Pauly girl or Heineken dark anymore. Few places carry it though.

I like some of the microbrew Bock and porter beers.

Reds are another favorite of mine, I’ll drink a Smithwicks sometimes and really miss Watney’s red ale.

I am not into the IPA’s and their hoppiness wars, much too bitter for me.
