    More like 50-75 thousand as I have read.
    Looks like you are way off base all around. Chart covers 10 million years. Growth from earliest to now is about 35%, and has been growing steadily for the last couple of million years. I've read the a big reason brains started growing was cooking food. The more humanoids ate cooked food, the bigger their brains would get. That growth curve corresponds to that.
