I have 2 Taurus'. I love them both, my Millinium sites are a little off, but for the good or bad I have learned to compensate for that... Other then that they are great guns for the money. I do have a glock and I love it as well but Taurus was in my price range at the time for new guns...

My fiance carries a Millenium pro (pt111), we have around 400-500 rounds through it without any problems what so ever. I have a taurus 1911 that has over 500 rounds through it with no problems other than not wanting to feed gold-dots reliably. From what I hear and have experienced Taurus firearms are very reliable now-a-days...that may not have been the case early on.

I think you'd be satisfied with either.

    I own a PT145 Millennium Pro in .45acp I also own a 24/7 OSS DS in .40S&W.

No complaints from either. I also own an additional 6 other models of Taurus handguns. I've not had an issue with any of them.

OSS designation stands for Office of Special Services

This model was the Taurus entry for a military contract to supply Special Service Forces such as the Navy Seals.

Taurus did not secure the contract, but still produced a fine firearm, in my opinion.

    No feed problems, with anything.

Ambidextrous safety, 5.25" match grade barrel, Novak branded sights. Everything else is the same as a 24/7 pro DS.

FYI I shoot Hydrashocks in my 24/7's, and they feed perfect.

I agree, I really enjoy my 24/7 OSS.

I own both the 24/7 and PT111. The millennium is much better for concealed carry which I use it for. The 24/7 is 10 times more comfortable to shoot though. I'm not a fan of the Heine sights but both weapons have been extremely reliable. I've put at least 500 rounds through both and never had an issue. Disassembling them is not the most enjoyable thing.

I don't like the Heine's either, thankfully Taurus moved to the 3 dot style, both my compact, and OSS have 3 dot sights.
