Just picked up a 2003 Honda VFR800 Interceptor. It's my first bike. I know it's not what many would recommend for a first bike. BUT, I got an amazing deal on it, and really couldn't pass on it. Have to replace the right mirror and picked up a new battery for it. The guy bought it at tax time, rode it twice and it had set. Battery was toast and not holding any charge (he used a car charger...derpy). Also, one of his buddies got pissed and kicked it over...which is why I need to replace the right mirror.
Going to be riding this as a commuter until winter kicks in, i.e. cheaper gas mileage to and from school 4 days a week.
All in all, I think I made out like a bandit for what I paid for it. Working on getting my insurance and plates, and getting into one of the moto classes locally...only problem is they are ALL only available during the weekends. Boo.
