Seems like a good thread to drop this into.

Does this teach you how to be a successful street pan handler?

went on a spirit quest. i was starting to loose my center.
Glad to see you back. I was thinking about you a few days ago.

I don't know what caused your leave of absence, but there were some threads and members which caused me to take a break and reevaluate what and who I engaged on the board. It improved my attitude.

Looking forward to seeing your input again.

i feel you. i had to reevaluate self and the message i was putting out. i found i was arguing about small things that had nothing to do with my journey.

i had to find my center again.

hope all has been good in your hood.

    Near the big river.
Lived near Sacramento for 9 years, wife was an Air Force officer. We bought a house on a somewhat busy street. One day very early opened the garage door to go to work and a man was standing there. Got ready to fight. He pointed to his car on the other side of the street and in very bad English said he was out of gas.
I had a brand new gas can in my service truck with 2 gallons in it and handed it to him. He poured it in his car and drive off with my can!!
I fumed about it all day. When I got home the can was in front of my garage, full. Took that as a lesson.

Have been approached many times by scammers over the years. Have bought food for them more than once. Figure that if I have so much and it seems somewhat legit, my motivation is to help. Up to them what their motivation is.

    My $.02.

I was an over the road truck driver for 22 years, I think I have heard every story (scam) there is. I don't give money to any of the people telling these lies. It's possible that occasionally one might be true, but not likely. I have given small amounts of change when I first heard some of the stories, but after a few of them, I decided no more.
