Most of these groups aren't as anti as we think. They're against the firearms that aren't under their supervision. Many of them most likely own guns, watts does.
The willingness to infringe on their own rights let alone the rest of the Countries citizens, for profit, is mind boggling.

Saw one of this group's talking heads on the tube the other night. She claimed to have been shot, and also to have watched her best friend to death in front of her.

Hmm. I don't know, she looked and talked like a suburban helicopter mom who had never seen the outside of a gated community. I'm surely not going to call the lady a liar, but my b.s. meter was twitching. If I could remember her name I would Google her.............

No matter; her arguments were still ridiculous and dangerous.

Miss Watts, of MdA, appears to be trying again to show Starbucks how much they WON'T go there if they don't ban guns. Well Miss Watts, please riddle me this, if you are already boycotting Starbucks, what is the point of "Skip Starbucks Saturday"? You already aren't going there.

I'm an engineer, it has trained me to be a logical person. I like logical people. Your question makes perfect sense. The problem with Miss Watts is that she is illogical and irrational. Therefore, logic and reason will never register with her, or with anti-gunners in general.

I too would love to hear the story of her ordeal because my BS meter was also going off. I'd bet lunch that if the two events she described DID happen, they probably werent directly connected... e.g. she was accidentally shot in the butt as a kid, and her "friend" (or friend of a friend) was shot in a different incident, (possibly suicide?) and she knew of the person who died of their injuries. If not she has definitely escaped the hellish life she led as a yout and has really turned her life around through education, etc.

And yes, Watts is probably counting on the same BS that our legislators do... Make laws for the unwashed masses but exempt certain people such as themselves from it. She probably does own a gun for one purpose; home defense. I have to assume that she doesnt want ANYONE but cops to carry so that in her mind we will all be safe. After all, the cops will protect us all whenever we leave the house. AMIRITE?!?!?

They are at it in Texas.

Basically in Texas a group of guys with AR's did a open carry demonstration. Texas law says as long as they are unloaded, it is legal. What got them was that people can call in a person threatening them and get them charged. I hope the person who called in the threat has to show up in court so the accused could face their accuser and the accuser to say why they were threatened. This is a bad thing in Texas now because anytime someone sees someone carrying, they will just call it in. In a way, if that happens enough, maybe the police won't do much as it happens more and more.

Without the "Moms Hot for Action" or whatever the hook up site is, I wouldn't have discovered the Vanilla Bean Frapaccino. I thank them.

the BOFH in me wants to find a similar unused domain like momsdemandaction.net, .org, etc and forward the traffic to a raunchy mature porn site.

But alas, they aren't even worth the $7-15 domain registration fees.

Not worth the time or effort either.

That said - I wouldn't personally want to make myself the target of a lawsuit.
