how do you prepare your mushrooms... i saok mine in saltwater for 24 hours then i smash up crackers and break open an egg then fry them up in butter..

Morels are pretty easy to spot but I don't know about the other ones.

The best way is dipped in seasoned flour and fried in bacon grease. This next part REALLY make them great. Serve with venison tenderloin.

The ones that grow in cow crap are the best, almost magic you could say.

I buy my mushrooms from the store my luck my dumbass would pick all the deadly ones and leave the good ones behind.

There are some retailers that will buy mushrooms then sell them by the pound. I know the Linton Wal-Mart used to do this.

As far as cooking, clean in salt water, roll in flour, dip in egg and fry.
