Do you have a credit union nearby? Screw banks, I've been a credit union member for several decades. They are member owned, the rates and services are better than traditional banks and don't have stupid policies. No signs on the door other than one asking to remove hats & sunglasses. They've never mentioned my sidearm.

I used to bank at PNC. I needed a notary service to witness my signature for a Wells Fargo loan re-cast document (not a refi or anything like that). They told me they would not provide a notary unless my loan was with them. I walked over to the mgrs. office and asked to close my account right then and there. Took everything over to the Forum CU and been banking there ever since. They were happy to provide several notary services for me since then.
I banked at this branch for decades. A new bank bought the old one. New name, now a new sign.

Meh, don't overthink it. Just go about your business as normal.

    Concealed means concealed.

No guns signs are like speed limit signs. They are for amateurs who don't know what they are doing.

If you don't have millions in the branch they don't care! At I&M Credit Union you walk through a metal detecter before they push a button to let you in and only one person between the doors at a time.

A friend that banks at Chase told me he recently went into his branch and requested that a couple of the employees witness his signature on his will and they refused. Against bank policy they said.. I told him it was time to change banks but he said "I've been banking there for 27 years" all the more reason to change banks IMHO but I don't think he did.
