Looks like you aren't working for a commission!

Those estimates were based of what I see on gb in my saved searches. But the most stringent 3rd gen collector wants the best and will pay more for condition as well as if its an earlier 3rd gen or if the product code is a bit rarer.

I did think about calling S&W if I win that 5906 frame to see if they could provide me the product code and assemble it to specs. I would assume the stepped frame means the slide had non novak sights.

Just giving you a hard time.

3rd gen prices remain all over the board. I have seen some insane premiums on GB and just as many deals. Weird market.

I know I'm still looking for that 3906 for you so I can get my big comission check....Ive seen fewer 4506's on the last few years than I did before when I bought mine in 2012. Stripped 5906 frames are definitely a rarity but Im not pushing past 170 shipped and transferred. Push comes to shove I may list the 5906 slide as the last few I watched went for 200 to 300 on gb. Theres one now im watching at 120.

I’ve got a NIB 5906 but keep thinking I need to pick up a nice shooter grade 5906. They are just good shooting guns.
I would as a bead blast will bring it back to almost factory finish and there's a bunch still in the 300 to 350 range.

Yep. I get easily distracted. Lol

Its all good I figure you got another 3 to 5yrs before the 5906 market starts shrinking and prices start creeping. Im hoping in 3yrs when our cars are paid off to start hitting the 3rd gen list and mark them off that and a few cz's. Definitely want a czech point vz58 to replace the vz2008.

To me I prefer it over my AR's even with the real world experience I got when in the service. It just maneuvers better and feels much lighter even with a full mag inserted.

Well ended up winning at 135 which will come to 170 with shipping and transfer fee. Add 20 to get the frame bead blasted if it looks worse in person. Figure 325 to 340 in the 5906 once all assembled.

Not bad, plus you got the thrill of the hunt to go with it!

Nice deal! Pics along the way...

Will do when the frame comes in. If it needs blasted I'll do before and after. I'll get a pic of the slide when I get home. Will also have to pull out rhe parts need ro assemble and hope I don't need to buy anything.
