Russia admits that this incident did occur. A week or so ago, we had a Russian fighter "accidentally" firing an air-to-air missile at a British plane. Looks like Putin's Keystone Kops air force have escalated to bombing their own cities.

That article is misleading,by quite a bit. What the title should say is current NATO leadership says Ukraine will join NATO. The member nations not so much.

A Reuters interview with a Ukrainian soldier nicknamed “Adolf” has drawn the interest of social media users, with a number of people speculating that the battlefield pseudonym could be a reference to the infamous leader of Nazi Germany.
Such speculation has only been fueled by the rather unfortunate name of the soldier’s “Spartan Storm” brigade, which many have pointed out would be abbreviated to SS, which is reminiscent of Hitler’s Schutzstaffel (SS) paramilitary organisation that was tasked with carrying out the so-called “final solution” of exterminating Jewish people in concentration camps.
Posted early on April 21 — only a few hours after Adolf Hitler’s birthday — the interview discussed the training of newly recruited Ukrainian soldiers who are being readied for a planned counteroffensive against the invading Russian army.
Central to the agency’s report is a serviceman with the nom-de-guerre, or war nickname, “Adolf”, who detailed exactly what was involved in preparing the soldiers to fight off forces sent by Moscow.

You have to read into it. It's after the war is over with Russia they will be accepting them in. Current leadership does not get to decide.
So the current leadership is sending the message that in some undetermined future after the war Ukraine will be a member, as a warning to nations and leaders of NATO members(less they have their own color revolutions). Because that is what it looks like.

Never said it was from Ukraine….? I been hearing it’s all lies that Ukraine is winning, that they are being killed 7 to 1. Couple weeks ago Trump said Russia will win and take all of Ukraine. I’m wondering because most media shows how Ukraine is winning or holding on. But if true Ukraine will run out if men before running out of bullets. Is Russia just grinding them down then?
