The problem is he makes such broad sweeping statements. I would agree that the odds that a glock out of the box is probably going to have less chance of a malfunction than an out of the box production line 1911.
Maybe, maybe not.
My biggest issue with the whole stupid 1911 vs glock "argument" is that GLOCK is a manufacturer of striker fired polymer handguns. 1911 is a platform built by MANY different manufacturers. You're not even comparing apples to oranges. It makes no sense to me at all.
Excellent point. Comparing a model to a platform. Kinda like comparing a Toyota Tacoma truck to "SUVs",
Is it capable of handling a 28' Gooseneck with a 15,000 pound load?!Well, first we have the issue of whether or not a Tacoma is a truck at all.

Ha...Consider its Big Brother the Tundra has a tow capacity of 8100lbs WITH the tow package, I'm gonna go with a big fat NO.
Tundras make my wimpy li'l Silverado look like a Man's Truck.
and this makes your silverado look like a little plastic bath toy...

Ha...
I actually have a Neighbor that tried that with his Tundra...
It was amusing...
Go to a tundra forum and read about some that have towed that much weight , it's been done . But remember that the Tundra is only a 1/2 ton truck .
The Tundra Crewmax has a rating of #10,100 pounds towing capacity .
Yes they make the Chevy Silverado look Tiny .
I see people doing that all the time. Not only stupid but extremely dangerous to be towing that much weight on a 1/2 ton truck. The suspension can't handle it, the frame can't, neither can the brakes.
Few days ago saw a 1/2 ton Sierra pulling a 26 foot toy hauler. The front wheels were cocked in at the bottom since there was so much weight lifted off the front end. Very very dangerous.
