The problem is he makes such broad sweeping statements. I would agree that the odds that a glock out of the box is probably going to have less chance of a malfunction than an out of the box production line 1911.

    Maybe, maybe not.

My biggest issue with the whole stupid 1911 vs glock "argument" is that GLOCK is a manufacturer of striker fired polymer handguns. 1911 is a platform built by MANY different manufacturers. You're not even comparing apples to oranges. It makes no sense to me at all.

Excellent point. Comparing a model to a platform. Kinda like comparing a Toyota Tacoma truck to "SUVs",

    Ha...

I actually have a Neighbor that tried that with his Tundra...
    It was amusing...

Go to a tundra forum and read about some that have towed that much weight , it's been done . But remember that the Tundra is only a 1/2 ton truck .
The Tundra Crewmax has a rating of #10,100 pounds towing capacity .

Yes they make the Chevy Silverado look Tiny .

I see people doing that all the time. Not only stupid but extremely dangerous to be towing that much weight on a 1/2 ton truck. The suspension can't handle it, the frame can't, neither can the brakes.

Few days ago saw a 1/2 ton Sierra pulling a 26 foot toy hauler. The front wheels were cocked in at the bottom since there was so much weight lifted off the front end. Very very dangerous.

Under the law it is my choice whether to conceal or open carry. The OP video implies that the only reason to OC is to show off or make a political statement. In warm weather, it is uncomfortable to conceal. What if I need to take my jacket off to go indoors. There are practical reasons. Why should it be a big deal for me to carry legally, AND comfortably?

The mentality that one should conceal is born of decades of a different mentality about guns. It's not even necessarily an anti-gun mentality although there is plenty of that as we know.

When my mother was growing up, they didn't lock their doors at night. They were a peaceful society. It was legal to carry a gun, but people didn't think they had to, it wasn't until later that the right to carry actually was attacked by the same politicians who gave us Roe V Wade. How is it that they advocate my gun might kill someone, but they kill millions and millions of unborn Americans every year. How evil, how twisted. How sick.

Society has changed a great deal. People didn't think about being violently assaulted nearly as much 50, 60 70 years ago as happens now. Crime has skyrocketed in our time. We live in a time where lack of virtue is thought to be virtuous. We live in a society that has drifted so far from a sense of right and wrong, lets call it what it is, we have lost our sense of sin, so much so that we are starting to unravel. Maybe a lot of the folks reading this don't even want to hear my theories, and that's fine, because right now the direction we are headed in, it is only going to get a lot, lot worse. As long as we live in a society that grows more lawless on a daily basis, as long as the lawless claim lawlessness as their right, then old ideas about morality are not only being forgotten, they are being rejected. That is not good. No, this may not be the 1800s, but in a lot of ways, we are far worse. We are one sick and confused society. As long as that is the case, it is time to take a stand.

We live in a society were the very government leaders sworn to uphold and protect the US Constitution seem to have a satanic vendetta to attack our 1st and 2nd Amendment rights. Our society is becoming progressively more lawless, and our leaders seem to pride themselves on how much they can do to dismantle the freedom, true freedom born of virtue, that our ancestors fought and died to pass on to us. As long as there is a movement to destroy this great nation and what it stands for and replace it with Godless socialism, then the everyday person has to what is in his power do defend it. And there is a lot we can do. Practicing your 2nd Amendment rights is a lot more than a political statement. It is needed in order to change the mentality of Americans. It's a lot more than a political statement, it is being prepared for the consequences of the lawlessness that our current leaders tout as progress.

it's time to stand up for what is true and good without being ashamed to speak up. We are free men. We do not have to apologize for practicing our constitutional rights. I don't carry to make a political statement, but it is the other way around. That is the style of today's politics, to twist the truth around and distort it. The truth is that politics has created a reality that can not be ignored. It must be answered with courage or we will lose our freedom. I don't want to be responsible for my children living in that kind of world.

If you get bored one day compare a Tundra to a 2500 or a F250. In all honesty I feel like the Tundra should be 3/4 ton rated. It is a beefy truck for a half ton.
