Correct - you can start at 62 - but there is a reduction - so it depends on what other sources of Income and your Standard of Living ... ( Fancy Boys spend more )You can draw before "full retirement age"

Yep, understand about 8% or so per year. Age 70 gets the most.Correct - you can start at 62 - but there is a reduction - so it depends on what other sources of Income and your Standard of Living ... ( Fancy Boys spend more )
It's unfortunate that it's already been lost in a boating accident but it WAS a nice piece. Several Nighthawks and Wilsons as well as a Platypus has passed through my hands over the years and this was fitted as well, if not better than any of them.We need pics.
I do like a Commander, and definitely like a bobtail. It's unfortunate that it's already been lost in a boating accident but it WAS a nice piece. Starting next month I am going to stop with my medicare benefits and piggyback off my bestie as a Domestic Partner for 50 bucks a month and get her BCBS medical.I can COBRA my work benefits until Medicare and I have save enough in my HSA to cover it. I figured I gotta use that money for something why not this
Congrats Expat! I am thrilled for you!I checked the difference in 64 vs 67 On drawing SS. I wouldn’t break even until 79. So if I knew I would live a lot longer than that, I would wait. But Dad died at 78, so… who knows.
Did you take your SS at 100%What is this retirement you speak of?
I'll be 70 in few months and will work beyond that for health insurance for SWMBO!
At least 2 yrs, maybe 5 if my health stays in one piece.
Nope, looking at it now.Did you take your SS at 100%
May you live 20 years past your breakeven.Nope, looking at it now.
I am in Goshen. I got a fancy clay pigeon thrower from Natzches a month or two ago that was about half off. I was going to try it out down at TriCounty. Just need to assemble this thing and get the clay pigeons. Not sure where in Michiana you are but here are a few places to shoot that O/U.

Congrats; I retired three years ago and highly recommend it.So I am retiring a bit earlier than planned. I plan on waiting 1.5 years to start drawing on my SS and pension, which will be age 65. I will need to tighten the belt a little bit. But I thought before I tighten it too much, I should get myself a congratulatory gift.
Things I am considering:
H&K USP Expert .45
H&K MR762a1
Galil Ace 2 5.56
Citori 20g
I am not sure which of these I need most or if there is something else that I might need even more...
I know it’s probably a drive for you but check out Indiana Gun Club for anything shotgun related. Very knowledgeable and usually an excellent selection of quality guns in stock. I found my Beretta there when they were unobtainium. They have a great selection of other guns as well and decent prices. It looks like general consensus is the Citori. I will like get try to get the same model as the 16 g that I had bought last year. Pics to follow. And yes, it will get used.
Thanks everyone for the congratulations and kind words. You’re a great bunch.
