Here is more of my reloading room pictures and i even included my best buddy in a couple pics!
Nice! I am seeing lots of RED in those pictures!
Yeah, I owned a Dillon 650 and decided to go with Hornady this time. They both have their pros and cons, but i went with Hornady due to their primer system, powder drop, and half index. It has it’s corks sometimes, but once you get everything dialed in, it runs smooth. I might buy another 650 sometime to do 300 BLK and trim my brass.
Haha! That is cool for sure. I am a 650 man myself, and love it, but have never loaded on a LnL, so I have nothing to compare to. Glad you are digging the Hornady stuff.
Thanks guys for the great comments! I was away for 4 days with work. I came home and my wife bought me a corner cabinet for my primers and powder. I went and got some led strip lighting at Lowes and fastened it under the new bench as well as under the cabinet. I am not trying to gloat at all. I am just very proud of my reloading room and want to share pics with you all.
DoubleHelix..... Now that i have another Dillon 650 set up, you can tell a significant difference between the Hornady ammo plant and the 650. The 650 runs sooooo much smoother and the case feed is almost silent compared to the Hornady case feeder. You almost need ear pro when the Hornady case feeder and bullet feeder are running. I am getting the 1500 trimmer and Mr Bullet feeder for the Dillon. I might just get rid of the Hornady and get either another 650 or a 1050.
I started reloading with a new Dillon SDB. Six or seven months later I purchased a .30-30. I traded the SDB in on a 550 B. Last week I was in the LGS and noticed he still had my trade-in. Long story short, I shot him a price and he took it. I bought the press twice and I am still below MSRP. Now I have one for small primers and one for large.
Believe me I will. I really enjoy reloading. Maybe not as much as shooting but a real close second! By the way, that is one fine looking German Short Hair!!!!
