    SUBJ/MESSAGE TO THE JOINT FORCE//

RMKS/1. The following message to the Joint Force was co-signed by the
Chairman of the Joint Chief of Staff, Vice Chairman, and each of the Service
    Chiefs. It reads:

The American people have trusted the Armed Forces of the United States to
protect them and our Constitution for almost 250 years. As we have done
throughout our history, the U.S. military will obey lawful orders from
civilian leadership, support civil authorities to protect lives and
property, ensure public safety in accordance with the law, and remain fully
committed to protecting and defending the Constitution of the United States
against all enemies, foreign and domestic.

The violent riot in Washington, D.C. on January 6, 2021 was a direct assault
on the U.S. Congress, the Capitol building, and our Constitutional process.
We mourn the deaths of two Capitol policemen and others connected to these
    unprecedented events.

We witnessed actions inside the Capitol building that were inconsistent with
the rule of law. The rights of freedom of speech and assembly do not give
anyone the right to resort to violence, sedition and insurrection.

As Service Members, we must embody the values and ideals of the Nation. We
support and defend the Constitution. Any act to disrupt the Constitutional
process is not only against our traditions, values, and oath; it is against
    the law.

On January 20, 2021, in accordance with the Constitution, confirmed by the
states and the courts, and certified by Congress, President-elect Biden will
be inaugurated and will become our 46th Commander in Chief.
To our men and women deployed and at home, safeguarding our country--stay
ready, keep your eyes on the horizon, and remain focused on the mission. We
honor your continued service in defense of every American.

Sorry but claiming it was 100% Trump supporters (no antagonistic actors) is claiming something happened and by your standards would require proof.
It wasn’t Antifa. But while researching the Parler thing, it kinda dawned on me that it may well have been instigated, but by people on the radical right wing. I’m talking about white supremacy Neo Nazi radicals who are looking to take over government to bring about their political goals. Several such types were seen there.
There seemed to be two kinds of people who were on the wrong side of the Capitol doors. People with a plan and people without a plan. The obvious majority seemed to be the latter. The former I think may have been the instigators. Just a theory. I couldn’t find any of the left wing people identified so far that were in the mix.

Well, let's not denigrate people by calling them "low information voters". People can have the exact same information but come to different conclusions.

But you're right, it does seem like the stakes have gotten higher. Perhaps that's because the politicians have moved outward on the left/right plot. Used to be that the Dem and Rep candidate weren't so far apart as they are today. I don't see that trend changing at all as each side's voters are demanding more and more partisanship (i.e. get rid of RINOs from the right, and get in socialist on the left).

Are conservatives demanding more partisanship? Not because they are trying to move things right, it is because they are clinging to what they have are are sick and tire of politicians giving their rights away. The complaints about RINO's are because they go along with the dems moving us left. Just wait until the AWB comes up and see who supports our position. Will not be many...

Just wait until the AWB comes up and see who supports our position. Will not be many...

Given there are those here who voted for the platform that includes an AWB and other infringements upon the natural rights documented in the Second Amendment to the constitution of the united States, it may be helpful to define "our position".
