Preferred firearm?

I really love to shoot precision rifle, but I just can't afford a good setup at the moment, so I'm trying to learn how to shoot a pistol.

Long distance shooting with a rifle is my favorite, but i am building a couple SBR's, so i like pistols, with stocks, which makes them rifles, so, um oh screw it, i prefer the one that is there and loaded when i need it.

i "prefer" my pistols. i say "prefer" because i prefer ALL guns. if i have to choose one over the other, it would be my pistols, to fight my way to my shotgun(and soon to be ar and/or ak).

Silly question. It should be, Which do you prefer to shoot or Which do you prefer to hunt with or Which do you prefer to carry or Which do you prefer asthetically or Which do you prefer to look at or Which do you prefer to buy or Which do you prefer to collect. Most people on this site prefer different types of guns for different types of things.

Handguns and shotguns are alot of fun. But, theres nothing like it to be able to reach out....ay out and touch a target with a long gun.

"Favorite" would be my SSG in .308 but I love my Kimbers, I bird hunt so a good shotgun doesn't gather dust in the case.

I would say my preferred firearm is the one I control.
I would not like a loaded firearm in the hands of someone else (that is a threat to me, obviously im pro 2A).

I think that's Clint Eastwood who said "My gun control policy is that if there's a gun in the room I want to be in control of it".

I like rifles. accuracy and range + power. Shotguns are definitely the most versatile though. Pistols are fun to the shoot but seem to be a little impractical unless you want to shoot someone. There are exceptions of course.
