Not sure how legit this deal is. They seem to have a few junk fees that add on, but still well below everyone else's price currently

Time to buy one just to havd it at that price.
Get a bunch of brass and reload for it before the ammunition dries up.
Why? The caliber is dead. For around $300, I can get a CZ P10c or any number of good quality pistols in 9mm and not waste time stocking a useless caliber or components that had no reason for being in the first place.

I guess personal preference? I like to have a firearm for just about all calibers. Not all but the more I have if there is an ammunition shortage those oddball calibers are still on the shelves, and online when the popular calibers are all bought up.
I can also give it away as a gift.

There's never an ammunition shortage at your house if you focus on stocking the major calibers instead of spending thousands on a myriad of oddball guns and calibers that don't do anything that the most common calibers don't do. Fine for a hobbyist, if that's your thing, but I'm more of a practical gun owner. Only oddball caliber I really have is 7.62x54r, and that's only because the rifle was a gift.

$239.99 after $30 Mfr rebate. I also had a $20 off GaG email/coupon so it was just too good to pass up for me. YMMV.

    ETA: Taurus promo/rebate site... $30 on G series (G2, G3, GX4)
