I like the violin in your sig. It's a nice touch. It completes the whole package in my humblest of opinions.
Thank you, Skippy.

Not to thread jack here, but is this opinion or fact? The reason I ask is because I got pegged doing 112 in a 55 and the EXTREMELY nice St. Joe county deputy knocked it down to a 80 in a 55 and called it "pacing", and yes it was stupid and dangerous but I was 18 at the time and.......... well...........yeah it happened.
Just so I know where I stand, is that my "official" nickname from you, or was 24 hours not enough time to come up with a new one? If you want more time, just ask. I'm very lenient when it comes to extensions. Just ask my mother.
Nobody ever attempts to set up the police, nor does anyone without LE training, ever attempt to make the smallest judgment of police action.
Thank heaven that a certain number of INGO experts are on the job, scientifically and methodically delving into every such issue, to assure such would never occur.
Every state is different. Mass and Maryland are virtually identical, I can't recall which is which.
I don't know here in Indiana. I know in Florida in the 90's if you were going 50 over the speed limit it was mandatory arrest and at 30 over it was discretion.
FWIW When I was knocked down from 107 in a 40 to 50 in a 40.... back country road, no other cars on the road at 4am and a 9 mile strait as an arrow road, not as dangerous as it'd sound. Cop was just chilling blacked out on a dirt fire trail. Thank God for being a Fire Fighter
Sorry, that was directed at Joe's comment implying that it was justified to pull a weapon on traffic stops (in general) because more cops are killed on traffic stops than burglary calls.
I would have used the name your mother has for you. Unfortunately INGO rules prohibit such from being posted.
in my opinion holding those that we pay to do a job accountible for their actions while in the coarse of performing that job is key to getting our moneys worth and ensuring abuses do not occure. there always need to be people policing the police. opinions can be wrong sometimes, or disagreed with. no one will lose their jobs or freedom over my opinion. but i say what i believe and dont sugar coat it or say i believe something i dont just to get friends or rep. (not saying you are, im just explaining my reasons for what I say)
Also how do you know if I have any LE training or ILEA credit hours?
"Handsome"? Go for it.
Thanks for the clarification. My situation was similar to yours, out in the sticks, 2 miles of straight road with corn fields on each side and 2am. Officer knew my dad and again decided to be extremely cool. That was the last time I was ever over 100 mph outside of a race track.
I have not problems with criticisms, so long as such are constructive. For anyone reviewing any type of media, particularly those without a knowledge in the matter and stating a conclusion, is not only irresponsible, but reprehensible. Flagrantly inflammatory opinion can move people to task of demanding action by their respective governmental officials; too often, political pressure bears irrational action, when such should instead be of process.
I agree that such mistakes will be made by those viewing such, but too many people appear to have an axe to grind, instead of asking the right questions and objectively examining the evidence.
I don't. However, from your previous postings, you don't appear to have such a background in the discipline.
can you translate that into english please? theres no extra rep points for using words with a lot of letters, just so you know
oh, i have discipline alright. mine is more related to "sqeeze or index?"
For the purpose of the context of this word, as previously used, discipline is defined as a branch of knowledge or teaching.
yes. which context were you using it in? ("as previously used" by you or me?)
Go fail up someone else's thread guys.. Lol
