Prophetstown State Park, Tippecanoe county. It's not Yellowstone but still colorful. Will be even better in a couple weeks. Flushed a pheasant on trail #3.
West Texas desert valley as seen from the Sierra Diablo Mountains. This is probably the rarest photo I've ever taken as this was taken in the Sierra Diablo Wildlife Management Area which less than 10 people per year are allowed to visit. Despite nearly vertical faces in many areas, the cliffs are traversed by 4-6" wide desert bighorn and aoudad trails worn into the rock.
