I'm looking for a "medium" sized automatic parts washer. Something that works with solution or hot water. Not looking to spend an arm & a leg. Does anyone have one of these?
what size overall? i have outgrown my current parts washer and am looking at upgrading.... mine was pretty cheap to begin with.... maybe 4 gallon??? pm me for more info... its all metal, pump works, spray nozzle.... i think it has a tray too but i dont use it and would have to look for it.... maybe 1.5 feet by 1 foot and 10 inches deep possibly more.....
The ones at Harbor Freight are plastic, but there is a Machine Tool whse close to there that has 6 gal metal parts washers for around $50 (same price as the plastic ones at Harbor Freight). Go N of Harbor Freight on East Street to the U Haul store and go East about half a block. Harbor freight does have a really nice industrial brass tumbler for around $125, this thing is huge, would probably hold a couple thousand .45acp.
The place you are referring to is Wholesale Tool. Wholesale Tool has a good selection and good pricing. I have one of their small cleaning tanks for cleaning pistols. I use mineral spirits, it works great and lasts quite a while. They are on Hanna Ave between East St (31 South) and Madison Ave on the south side of the street.
