Beans are smelling good. I could smell them all night even back in my bedroom at the opposite end of the house.

I'm trying to figure out our latest song for church....

...but I think it'd be better if I'd just go to bed.

Almost breakfast fixin' time. Having fried mush and scrambled eggs again, but with sausage patties this time.

Bringing in the house plants today. Trying to talk Susan into letting me rearrange the living room. As of now, our couch is in front of the picture window and we put a lot of the plants on the windowsill there, which makes it hard to water them because you have to climb on the couch and lean over the back to get to them. I want to move the couch to one end of the room (where our couch always was when I was growing up here) and moving a couple of chairs and a round marble top table where the couch is now to make it easier to access the plants, but she doesn't think it can be done. I need to get out the tape measure and prove it to her.

Good morning. It is wet outside...thought I heard rain earlier when I was thinking about getting up. Cats came inside to eat. Got Chip to take her flea pill but she wanted back out. Lily got her pill yesterday so she is happily wandering around the house...heading up the stairs to her bed I think.
