Went to the hacienda for lunch. Came home, took waylon, tied him to a tree out front while I pulled weeds out front. Lot of strange people at church today since they had VBS this week and they did some stuff with the kids today.

Back yard is done. I switched it up and did it first this time. The nextdoor neighbors were setting up their volleyball court and I didn't know how soon they'd start playing, so I figured it would be less intrusive if I got the back out of the way so I'd be mowing the front if they started before I'm done.

I have had decent luck with RM43

as for deposits it is kind of like "brownie" points at home
hours of toil to receive only to be wiped out by one wrong comment
I had to look up the Ragan & Massey product, but that looks like it would do the trick.
    Thanks!

I'm going to give it a try. Weed whacker can only do so much, which has to be redone in a very few days and the Round Up themes only affect what's already growing.

I want to prevent germination as well.

    Brownie points?
Not sure I've ever had enough built up to cash in, but I have noticed that they seem to evaporate or something.

Need to go out and pick a head of cabbage. Going to make a pot of stuffed cabbage soup for supper.
You're going to have to explain that one for me.

To me, stuffed cabbage is pulling off the outer leaves, blanching them lightly, rolling wonderful things up inside and baking or steaming.

But you're putting them in a soup?

Never tried to boil or simmer them in liquid.

'Splain? Type slowly for me, please.

Got the spanish rice going for the chicken taco dinner.

Chicken slowly sauteed in a little extra comino, paprika and cilantro. Any other Mexxie spices could clash with the NE style chicken from the store.
    Short cuts!

Everything else is ready to go.

Wife wants to eat early. She's hungry.
I think she's just watching out for me. She knows I'll eat too much.

And, while she was "staying off her feet" she made an apple cobbler while I was gone to the store.

We put all of the cabbage rolls (Sarma) in the pot and cover with canned tomatoes/juice and simmer.

    Howdy everyone!

I told Susan to just call me when she gets in the driveway so we can go straight to Kroger to get gas. She should be here in about half an hour, maybe less.

    Hey, Mom. Thanks!

    Sounds wonderful!
I was well mature when I experienced my first Mediterranean foods.

Sarma cabbage rolls sound very similar to how the Mexicans do them, but way south they are usually served with seafood, rather than as part of a soup.
