I love my Ram, but I blew some transmission fluid lines trying to pull out a shrub several years ago. Apparently it was a known issue at the time and I got it fixed, but I haven't tried pulling anything out of the ground with it since.

I didn’t entertain it, mostly because I got the exact truck I wanted, at the price I wanted to pay. Even had a real tasteful wheel and tire package the previous owner left on it, I’m not emotionally attached but my wife does wonder if I love my truck more than her…It couldn't possibly be less money... we paid it off a few months ago.
Don't know the direction work is going to go, so we got that payment out of the way.
They did offer 5K more than we paid for it 3 years ago, about 4 months ago.
It's nice to know the limitations of your rig. Yours is a shrub.I love my Ram, but I blew some transmission fluid lines trying to pull out a shrub several years ago. Apparently it was a known issue at the time and I got it fixed, but I haven't tried pulling anything out of the ground with it since.
I pulled my buddies one ton jacked up dodge diesel up a hill in the snow because he couldn’t get traction. In my little half ton V6 ford. He will never live that downIt's nice to know the limitations of your rig. Yours is a shrub.
Well now, to be fair, when it was "younger", I actually pulled out a much larger shrub with no problem. It's nice to know the limitations of your rig. Yours is a shrub.
I hope you got it on Video so you can just randomly send it to him for a reminder.I pulled my buddies one ton jacked up dodge diesel up a hill in the snow because he couldn’t get traction. In my little half ton V6 ford. He will never live that down
You know it’s probably a lot faster to pull weeds by hand then trying to tie them to your truckWell now, to be fair, when it was "younger", I actually pulled out a much larger shrub with no problem.
Unfortunately I did not, that is a fantastic idea though. I think I’ll text him right now!I hope you got it on Video so you can just randomly send it to him for a reminder.
I'll have you know that it was an aborvitae thankyouverymuch! And it was nearly 8' tall! Harrumph! You know it’s probably a lot faster to pull weeds by hand then trying to tie them to your truck
You know I love you doggydaddy,I'm not sure, but I think arborvitae is in the same family as redwoods and sequoias, so that's pretty bad-ass you have to admit...
It was EIGHT FEET TALL!! I really wanted to cut a drive thru tunnel through the trunk, but it was too close to the house. You know I love you doggydaddy,
but
A 2x4 can also be eight feet tall, but without roots it falls over real easily. It was EIGHT FEET TALL!! I really wanted to cut a drive thru tunnel through the trunk, but it was too close to the house.
And this just tells me that you need to weed your flower bed more oftenIt was EIGHT FEET TALL!! I really wanted to cut a drive thru tunnel through the trunk, but it was too close to the house.
Those 318’s were a killer engine!I pulled down some old out buildings with my '86 Dodge W150. *That* was a great truck. I honestly loved it. Still had the 3D ram hood ornament, 318/4 speed granny. I sold it to get an extended cab when my son was in a rear-facing child seat, though. I had to lift his child seat with my elbow to shift into second...
You're not wrong. I'm waiting on a good hard freeze. And this just tells me that you need to weed your flower bed more often
I had one in a '73 Plymouth Satellite that was Dad's old work car. It would get up and go!Those 318’s were a killer engine!
