Anyone that thinks Crown Point has bad traffic has never experienced bad traffic.
For the size of the city its terrible. The city has no forward thinking when it comes to urban planning and only tries to keep up with what the other towns are doing in the area. There are no true thoroughfare N/S or E/W. The old mayor constantly blamed the state because of 231, 55, and 53, but the fact that 109th/North st are terribly planned doesn't support that excuse. Is it Chicago level traffic, maybe not, but if you scale the traffic for the population it would probably rival it.

CP isn't alone either. Cedar lake, Dyer etc. all building at record rates without adding infrastructure first. Hundreds of thousands of Illannoy refugees can't be wrong.
