I wanted to thank everyone that said prayers or sent good thoughts my Nieces way for her baby. He's almost tripled his weight and is just a touch over 4# now. Chance he can go home after the New Year. He got a visit from Santa and Mrs. Claus as well

I bought a juvenile Goliath Birdeater - Theraphosa blondi AKA biggest spider in the world @ Ark yesterday. About 3.5 inches or so right now. Will grow to about the size of a dinner plate in a few years.

The Lake County Sherriff's department in a bizarre case had to call upon the Indiana National Guard to help take out a giant spider and killed its owner, the neighborhood dogs and was threatening the population of Lake County.

The Times was able to capture an image of this horrific event.
