If I could get the owner to return a call I was going to go buy a smaller compressor to get us by and serve as a backup in the futureWould it be worth trying to rent one?

Permanently closed. As in went out of biz
Or as in closed for the year "vacation by owner" mode
... and phones aren't working. No dial tone....again. Reboot the modem and got phones back. ...
It may not be that long. Phone companies are shutting down their old PBXs. Not cost effective to keep them running anymore.Aside from the compressor issue, the phone issue. I've been badgered for years to switch to digital phone. Nope, aint doin it. I've had four AT&T hard lines since 1985, and they've never failed me. That's a long time. Not going to take a chance on internet phones until they shut off my lines. Hopefully, that'll be someone else's problem by then.

I was told that here in CP the wall jacks are digital already. Not sure if or how that affects you. It was a disappointment to me because even though the phones are plugged into the ancient wall jacks, if we have no internet, we have no phones.Aside from the compressor issue, the phone issue. Payroll, union paperwork, secretary type work, some project managementWhat did she do
The other part of the issue is physcial PARTS for those old equipment are not being made anymore and trying to find replacements is hard, very hard.It may not be that long. Phone companies are shutting down their old PBXs. Not cost effective to keep them running anymore.
Looks like it's a fiber optic day if I get it up at all. My balance is not good enough to put ornaments on, so I'll put up the fiber optic tree that has colors in its branch tips. Then just some gold garland and a topper.I'm going to try to get the tree up today. Depends on how good I feel. We have two trees-- one with white lights that I put ornaments and the whole nine yards on--and a fiber optic one that is so pretty it doesn't need much, just a little tinsel and a topper. We'll see which one I put up. They are both 4' trees. When I set them on an end table in the living room window, they look like full sized trees from the outside. On the inside, there is room for presents on/under the table. The smaller trees need fewer decorations also.
Ever since they switched us to fiber optic I've has nothing but issues. Sometimes it's the phones others it the internet and or cc machine. I have to do a reboot on the equipment at least once every 2-3 weeks. Real pain in the ass when cc is down because I don't know till it's time to use it.Aside from the compressor issue, the phone issue. I've been badgered for years to switch to digital phone.
