So how many people can we get to promise to show up, no excuses for work or being sick? and How many would be enough?
What is "enough" and what is the end goal, brother--those are the questions. We have the right to open-carry in Indiana, and while I understand the idea of solidarity, 10 or even 100 doesn't make the cut. Open-carry or not, I don't care, but when we do our damnedest to demonstrate that we are a vast and insignificant minority, we're shooting ourselves in the foot and Hell on the pun.
I am not afraid to open-carry. I'm not interested in hiding behind the numbers, but I'm also not interested in making a mockery of what has been achieved up to this point. I'm down with the enthusiasm, but you're right, the numbers aren't there. If you work on it for three to six months, get 10,000 people to commit, and 3000 show up, then we've got something. Is that possible? Judging by the number of people on this site claiming to be gun owners, I think so, but who knows. I'm all for unity, but I won't sabotage the movement by creating a spectacle for the socialist media to exploit.
