I've got a Liberty. And I don't do (stupid) U-turns. But it does sound a bit familiar though. When I was about 20 I was headed northbound on Mississippi St. south of the mall, and an oncoming car was coming down the middle of the road, straddling the line. He ran me off the road, I hit the ditch, and flew through a barbed wire fence into a soybean field. (Yes, I was going too fast... about 50 in a 35.) The farmer thought that $150 would cover restringing the fence, so I wrote him a check and went on my way.

Jedi, I forgot to reply earlier. You mentioned using an old tire as a spare. I picked up a rim at Archies on broadway, merrillville.
