Yup, two days ago it was getting warm in the house. Upstairs has screens in the window, but none downstairs. So, I almost turned on the A/C.
But then yesterday, got a bit chilly

Exact same... Woke up wondering why the English Mastiff was trying to get so close...he was pushing me off the bed!
Well looks like all my chances were finally spent. 
Chiraqi thugs finally got jedi.
On Thursday afternoon after 13 years of parking on the southside by the public library and day care center with heavy police presence since the PD station is not far from there jedi found the van missing.
It did not get towed.
The elderly couple that lives next to the library confirmed they saw 3 youths near the van, then inside the van and then the van was gone.
Chicago PD took the report.
No activity on the ipass.
Spent 2 days driving up and down the Southside street and did not see it.
Insurance company got me a "clown car" mistubishe mirage for the time being while they wait the 10 days before they consider it a total loss.
The van was a rust bucket but had a good motor and mechanical was ok. It had taken me to FL several times, MN, and Canada all with no issues.
Lost over $1000 in emergency vehicle tools that where in the van stored over the years. Plus some sentimental items from road trips and an old atlas that belonged to jedi's grandpa.
Luckly no harm to jedi.
So if ya see a silver 2006 minivan with a pink hello kitty sticker call the police!
Doubt the van is intact at this point.
Most likely in a chop shop being stripped for parts.
