Me too, and I was only 5. OK, "remember it well" is probably a stretch, but I remember my mom pulling me into town (over a mile) on my sled to have hot chocolate at Cozy Corner, a diner that used to be downtown Crown Point. Anyone familiar with CP, it was on the corner where the little tiny park is now on Main and Joliet.
