Several years ago I had complete blockages on both side. I was screaming in pain in the ER.

    Morphine? Nope.

    Fentyinal? Nope.

Cocktail of both Morphine & Fentyinal ... that finally worked. Ended up with strings in places they don't belong. Blood coming from a place it should not come from. Only good thing about the ordeal was I was so drugged it didn't matter. When the doctor pulled those strings out the best thing he did was surprise me by not telling me he was going to do that to me. Pain? Yup. It was days. Days. And eternity of days.

    Just multiple kidney stones.
I was in the er Friday.
But now that I'm bqck, they won't let me go

    Kidney stones.

Lots of home cures and remedies for kidney stones but the real cure is to find out the cause of your particular stones (there are different causes) and then avoid that food/mineral/vitamin. While doing that you need to increase your water intake and maintain a higher water intake for the rest of your life.

    Or suffer the consequences.

    The choice is yours.

I had 5 of them a 1/2 " in dia. When I tried to pee everything just shut down. They had to go in and remove them.
Dr told me I had 3 strikes against me. I work construction so I dehydrate almost every day, I drink lots of coffee and I drink Mt Dew.
He said I'm not telling you to be an alcoholic, but I should drink 1 beer every day.
Knock on wood, haven't had any more.
When my wife was doing her nursing clinicals there was a guy that had to come in every 6 months to have ultrasounds to break up his stones. 100's of them every 6 months

Well, I'm certainly glad I still drink lots of water, because I don't want to deal with that. In fact, I'm going to drink lots more water today just in case. And I don't mean over hydrate, just more water instead of sweet tea. Usually I'll have a bottle or two of water daily anyway.

7 hours to go till surgery.

I've been saying "no" to morphine until just now. That other stuff just wasn't cutting it.

No food or drink till surgery

And my problems seem to be chocolate and cola.
I could drink clear sodas, and the doc didn't seem to care about caffeine.

I would have one root beer or dr. Pepper a month.
And that seemed to work for years.
But, lately I started thinking, a little more wouldn't hurt.
Then I'd get a 2 liter with my pizza.
    And all that Halloween chocolate.

It was just TOO much TOO quick.

    So I've learned my lesson.
