I'm going out to South County to pick up a gun today. Got Mom a little Charter Arms .22mag.

I like the .22 mag but the price of ammo is kind of high. I know a person who had a 4 inch barrel .22 mag pistol and put a hole in the roof of a Ford ranger pick up truck by accident. The round will do what it's supposed to do.

It's strictly for self defense, and plinking with it is not even an option right now since ranges are closed. I did pay $14.99 for 50 rounds of hollowpoints, which I didn't think was too bad.

Yes it is. At least use spent .22 cartridges. Snap caps are so cheap to get and cheaper than getting another firing pin.

You can use the white colored wall anchors as snap caps for 22mag. They work perfectly and are cheap
