    I like the .22 mag but the price of ammo is kind of high. I know a person who had a 4 inch barrel .22 mag pistol and put a hole in the roof of a Ford ranger pick up truck by accident. The round will do what it's supposed to do.
    It's strictly for self defense, and plinking with it is not even an option right now since ranges are closed. I did pay $14.99 for 50 rounds of hollowpoints, which I didn't think was too bad.

    Just remember the .22 mag is a lot louder than a .22 LR. Let me know how this works out for your mother. Is it SA/DA or just SA?
