Closing on the old house tomorrow at 1:30pm. Got a box-o-stuff to hand to the new owners (keys, manuals, blueprints for the basement, tools for appliances, etc.), stuff most folks discard nowadays. Going to be nice to worry about one house and pay for 1 house. Have to do some running to switch over the utilities so they don't have to pay start up costs. Not that big a deal since they payed cash for asking price and closing costs.

Do they drive a black Escalade and have a teardrop tat?
Nope & nope. Kinda helps they want to live near relatives (2 houses down) and we are the only house for sale in the subdivision. Other perk is the house is well maintained (as we weren't planning on moving- roof 1 year old, 8x10 shed 1 year old, 2 gardens (1 is 1 season old), and they won't have to lime the property for 8-10 years.

I hope you get stuck there with your "feets and feets" of snow.

I never thought a few inches of snow could shut down an interstate in Chicago but I suppose it's possible when that snow is slush ... the consistency of wet cement.
Just about as heavy too. Supposed to be in the 50s again so hoping it's gone. If not ice factory when it freezes again late tonight
